I was using the dialup internet at my middleschool the first time I played it. I now work for an ISP installing megabit internet over wireless. I was 12 years old then. I can legally drink, smoke, and carry a handgun in the US now. It was the second dating-sim I played, Love-Hina was the first. Since then, I've played Ganguro Girl, HTH, and dozens more I can't recall the names of. But none of them were quite SG. I've gotten hooked and lost interest in RuneScape, modded wxSand, learned the basics of C from a pamphlet out of Bell Labs, learned Lua in RigidChips, built my dream home in MineCraft, spent a year using Linux from the terminal only, gotten hooked on MUDding, started learning Python, and failed English-101 twice. In the same time SimGuy has been working on SG on and off, adding new mechanics, fixing bugs, fleshing-out storylines, and making SG into the dating-sim all others are compared to.
